Hifumi's favorite part of love is being able to shed the callous persona she's developed to shield herself from the pain of true emotion. Specifically, by being able to truly experience her own existence with the support of someone who is one-hundred percent in her corner. She feels a purpose in being supportive for her boy/girl friend, and she relishes in the fact that she is needed purely on her own merits. She also relates the feeling of romantic love back to passion, which is a strong drive for her, and she uses it as motivation to continue to push forward and do "the next right thing." Her experiences with love itself are very lacking, and she does base a lot of her interpretation off of what she has enjoyed through media (read: anime and k-drama), but the dreamlike fantasy of romance gets the blood pumping under the surface for her just a little bit more.
Personally, I'd say my favorite part of "love" is the unyielding bond between two people. No matter what I do, say, succeed, or fail at, I know there is always someone backing me up and cheering my wins, or mourning my losses. I also truly appreciate the boring contentedness of being together, I'd take a thousand nights in with my husband over one night out alone. It's comfortable and soothing in its own way.
When Hifumi is completely alone, she likes to sketch. Though her drawings are crude and more cartoony than what she'd consider fine art, she has a few pieces that she's quite proud of. But, she will never let them see the light of day out of fear of ridicule, especially compared to her star artist classmate Kitagawa.
